What age group works is best for The Incredible Bubble Show? The Incredible Bubble Show works for kids from 1-101. The goal is to make learning fun. The show works very well for elementary and middle school children to reinforce key curriculum learning points.
Since people of all ages and sizes loves bubbles, the show also works for family audiences and venues.
A modified version is available for pre-school settings.
How can I make “bubble juice” to make bubbles at home or at school? For my performances, I use several formulas for different effects. I don’t share my secret formulas but you can find a wide variety of recipes online.
A good basic recipe is 1 part dishwashing soap (I like Non-Ultra Joy) to 10 parts tap water. Use a clean container with a lid. Add one cup soap to the container. Slowly add 10 cups of tap water. Stir very gently. If you get lots of foam on top of your bubble juice, carefully remove the foam with something stiff.
When you are done bubbling, put the lid on the container and you can use the bubble juice another day.
I usually don’t add anything else to this basic recipe.
Why do I have to have clean hands to make hand blown bubbles? Oil from your skin and ingredients from sunscreen or hand lotion will interact with the bubble solution and weaken it.
The soap will dry your skin, so when you are done bubbling, carefully rinse your hands and arms in warm water and dry them. Then apply a small amount of hand lotion to make your skin feel softer.
What types of bubble makers can I use to make incredible bubbles? With you at all times, your hands and fingers are great bubble makers. But you can end up with wet armpits when you hold your arms up to make bubbles. You could wear dishwashing gloves and turn up the bottoms to make a cuff to catch the drips.
If you are going to make lots of hand bubbles, you might want to get two stretchy head bands and wear them on your arms above or below your elbows.
To find lots of things in your environment that can be great bubble makers, put on your “bubble eyes” and look for these three things: an opening to stretch the bubble juice across, no sharp edges that would hurt your hands, and it must be light enough to raise over your head.
Will my floor get wet during The Incredible Bubble Show? I will bring rubber backed carpets to protect your flooring.
Can you present The Incredible Bubble Show outdoors? Wind and breezes can make presenting the show outdoors a bit of a challenge. The flow of the show needs to be modified for outdoor shows. For the most learning opportunities, the show is best performed indoors.
What is the best set up for an indoor show? I need a minimum performance area of 6’ X 8’ and I bring the performance into the audience area.
For a family audience, the best set up is for children 5* and older to sit on the floor with adults on chairs in the back.
For an assembly, or other large gathering, three aisles are best for me to bring bubbles into the audience. Participants can sit on the floor or in chairs.
If the performance area is a raised stage, steps in front of the stage are best so I can bring bubbles into the audience.
*Children under age 5 need to sit with an adult who will restrain the child from walking or running through the audience or performance areas.
What is the best set up for an outdoor show? An outdoor performance works best on a raised stage.

For outdoor events with lots of activities taking place at the same time, The Incredible Bubble Zone is a hands-on bubble making area for kids and adults of all ages. Dazzling Events will provide all the tools necessary for your participants to have a memorable time making incredible bubbles. The Incredible Bubble Zone is customized to meet your specific needs.
Can I videotape The Incredible Bubble Show? No videotaping is allowed during The Incredible Bubble Show performances but still photos are encouraged.
Can you share advice for taking photos of people inside the bubble force field? The force field is only there for a few moments. Digital cameras work well but you have to be ready for the shot. If you are using a camera with film, an 800 speed film or faster works better than slower film.
Are there any safety precautions I should take? Please don’t put a plastic tarp on the ground or floor. I will bring rubber backed carpets to catch all the bubble juice drips.
Children of all ages* become very focused on “owning a bubble” by touching and popping the bubble. Your assistance is appreciated in reinforcing the message that all participants need to enjoy the show in their seat. I will bring bubbles to all parts of the audience so there is no need to get up to run to the bubbles.

Yes, I carry professional liability insurance. I can arrange to have your organization as an additional insured on my policy. Please request the additional insured certificate at least four weeks prior to the event. How far are you willing to travel? Have bubble juice, will travel is my motto. I am willing to travel to any location to share the learning and delight of The Incredible Bubble Show. I have performed in Europe, Canada, China, and many areas of the U.S. including Hawaii, Southern California and Texas.

Tell me about your balloon skills? I earned the designation of Certified Balloon Artist, CBA and I am skilled in all areas of balloon décor and balloon sculpting. I am the author of six books on balloon sculpting and I have lectured about both topics in the US, Europe and Canada.

Tell me about your storytelling skills? Storytelling is one of my favorite forms of entertainment. I earned my BA in Speech Communication at the University of Hawaii and I’ve studied storytelling and practiced the art form for many years.
I can tell traditional stories, present a program of themed stories or work with an audience to create a unique story. I often use puppets, costumes, and/or balloons to add visual elements to make the stories more vivid and memorable.
